About career services

The office was established circa 2002 to provide placement support to Accounting and Secretarial students and coordination of Attachments for the first degree cohort (BCOM & BBIT) in 2002.


In order for Schools to gain industry insights and feedback regarding our students, Attachment coordination was decentralized from our office to the various schools on campus in 2010. In 2011, we transitioned from Attachments Placement office to Career Development Services to reflect the shift in focus from a ‘transactional office’ to a transformative service.


We are located at Student center 3rd floor next to the International Students office.
